Irritable Bowel Syndrome, known as IBS, is an extremely common condition affecting upwards of 20% of the population. Many patients with IBS become frustrated by limiting diets, poor response to supplements, and that their condition is not deemed to be that serious even though the symptoms can make social situations very awkward and stressful. In today’s broadcast we will discuss how the scientific literature is shifting its opinion on IBS as being primarily a neurological problem rather than a gut problem.
