Over the years, there has been discrepancy in the medical literature as to when a patient should be treated for hypothyroidism based on the severity of their lab tests.  In today’s broadcast, we will discuss this in detail as well as the fact that “borderline” cases of hypothyroidism can be highly clinically significant to heart disease, and new literature is supporting that subclinical hypothyroidism may have an impact on depression, metabolic syndrome, and miscarriages.
