Bacon and Brussels sprouts (Crock Pot)
1 Tbs Olive oil
6 slices bacon, chopped
2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 Tbs cup sliced green onion
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3/4 cup water
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Heat the oil in a frying skillet over medium heat and fry bacon sliced until browned. Remove bacon from the pan, and place on a paper towel.
- Place the Brussels sprouts in your Slow Cooker.
- Add the green onion, garlic, water, crisped bacon bits and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
- Serve hot.
